How do oysters eat?  Do crabs sleep in the water?  Is a jellyfish a fish?  Children are full of questions; let Capt. Phil help answer a few. Join us with your little skipper (age 5 - 10) for hands-on learning aboard the 'Lisa S' - a 48 foot authentic, wooden Chesapeake style charter boat.

Capt. Phil shares what it's like to live and work on the Chesapeake as the young "watermen" tong oysters, check crab pots, identify pelicans and osprey, and cruise by No-Point Lighthouse! 

Pack a lunch!  
After "working the water", the LI'L SKIPPERS will gather shore side at the pavilion to eat --  watermen can work up quite an appetite!

The boat is docked at:  50126 Dove Cove Road, Dameron, MD 20628
What time should I arrive?
Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure. Please allow plenty of time for traffic and to check-in at the Shore Side Pavilion. The boat leaves on time; you will not be refunded if you miss the boat.

What should I wear?
Dress appropriate for the weather and wear soft sole shoes.

What happens if it rains?
The cruise will be canceled if the captain deems the trip unsafe or hindered by weather; notice will be sent via booking email.
