How big is the boat?
The 'Lisa S' (pictured left) is a 48-foot authentic, wooden Chesapeake style charter boat. Cruises will carry up to 30 passengers*. Where do I park? The parking area is located next to the dock. What time should I arrive? Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure. Please allow plenty of time for traffic and to check-in at the Flip Flop Beach Pavilion. The boat leaves on time; you will not be refunded if you miss the boat. Are lifejackets available? Yes, lifejackets are available for all passengers. Is the cruise narrated? No, the cruise is meant to be a relaxing experience on the water and no narration will be provided. However, your captain will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Do I have to worry about seasickness? Seasickness is generally not a problem. However, we do recommend taking necessary precautions if you are prone to motion sickness. What should I wear? Dress appropriate for the weather and wear soft sole shoes. Are food and beverages provided on board? Bottled water and chips are included. You are welcome to bring a small snack and beverage (beer/wine is acceptable - Please drink responsibly). Are children welcome aboard? Yes, all are welcome! But please be aware that there may be alcohol consumption by adult passengers onboard. What happens if it rains? The cruise will be canceled if the captain deems the trip unsafe or hindered by weather, or if there are less than a total of 10 reservations. Cancellation notice will be sent no later than one hour before departure. Is the boat available for private charters? Yes! Cruises are extra special fun for visiting friends/family; a memorable client marketing/thank you; a unique outing for all ages; a pleasant post wedding wind down; or a fun way to arrive at just about any event!
